Teaching

Matt is a patient and dedicated teacher with over 20 years experience in both private music tuition and work with community theatre groups and choirs. He offers piano and theory lessons for all ages and abilities, whether working towards graded exams or playing for pleasure.

-Students are encouraged to explore a wide variety of musical styles and have access to an extensive collection of sheet music and audio recordings.

-Excellent ABRSM examination record

-Opportunities to develop general musicianship, composition and performance skills and the option to participate in informal concerts for fellow students friends and family.

-Use of studio equipment to record and notate compositions.

-After an initial trial period, lessons for school aged students are payable in advance on a termly/half-termly basis.
